Lions and fountains and signs... oh my!

While starting to drive Route 66 in Chicago, one has to visit the sign that begins the Mother Road, the lions in front of the art Museum, and the mother of all fountains in Chicago - Buckingham fountain.

Since it was a weekday, we were lucky enough to find a parking space right on Columbus Avenue. While visiting in the fountain, the Skies started to darken. So we headed for the car. It was definitely the right thing to do the skies opened up with a vengeance.
