Amazing morning in Pontiac, IL. But the city so much that we had to come back. Started at the Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum. We didn't even know that they had more than one floor. The second floor was the 1940s museum. The third floor was a war museum.
The town has red footprints showing you the way to all the mural paintings. Blue footprints lead you to all the museums.
The center of the historic area is the old courthouse which has absolutely beautiful old architecture. I just love this town.
